Practice makes perfect, and in the case that the school experiences a fire we want to be perfectly prepared. Friday November 9th, 2018 teachers, children and staff practiced their efficiency to reach safety during a fire.
Before the drill teachers were informed of their route, destination and routine.
The teachers took this opportunity to educate students about fire safety and how to work together following the teacher. Everyone quickly left the classrooms and arranged themselves on the main playground.
When everyone was counted and called for the numbers were reported to management staff where they recorded the results. This was a successful practice that not only helped us be prepared but also showed us if there was any issues or mistakes that we need to change. Great work everybody, and though we hope to never have to implement these plans we're ready just in case!
