With yellow pears,red jujubes,golden apples,and sparkling grapes,nature is full of magic.It was a colorful autumn that gave people joy both visually and taste wise.K1 children walked out of the kindergarten with curiosity and went deep into nature to explore its wonders.
In the warm sunshine, the children stared out the window at the trees and said, "Wow, nature is so beautiful”. The leaves fluttered like yellow butterflies and finally fell to the ground. Without noticing we arrived at the destination - Huaxi ecological park.
Part1 Careful observation认真观察
The children followed the teacher into the ecological park in a neat line. As soon as they entered, the children were immediately attracted by the various and strange plants. The children couldn't control their excitement. Some of them began to pose, some wanted to be taller than the plants, and some asked questions like "Why?”. Children started to explore the mysteries of the garden and talked about their favorite plants with their peers. The children watched as they walked, enjoying the wonders that are the natural creatures in the ecological park and listening to the keepers explain how to grow and take care of natural creatures.

In the garden, the children visited the greenhouses which had big calabash vines, small pineapples, long towel gourds and other green vegetables, each of which was full of vitality. These fruits grow in different ways. Some hang on the vines, some knot up in the trees and some stretch across the ground. It is so amazing. The children want to hug these lovely fruit babies as to keep them in their memories.

The children visited the Milu Culture Zone, which houses one of the world's rarest animals, the milu deer. With an explanation from the narrator, the children understood the life habits of the milu deer. They observed how the milu deer foraged, played and moved, and felt the happiness of close contact with animals. The ecological and environmental protection concept of Huaxi ecological park coincides with that of Newton’s. The harvested plant stalks are used to feed the milu deer, and the milu deer dung is used for plant breeding. This continuous ecological circle is both environmentally friendly and beneficial to the development of the ecological park.
The children are happy in the autumn. Through this environmental awareness experience in the Huaxi ecological park, we have made countless observations such as that there are various shapes of leaves, different colored fruits and different mature plants. The kids increased their knowledge about the growth process of vegetables and fruits. It also enriched the childrens’ cognition of agriculture, plant irrigation and harvest. They also learned relevant knowledge of animal breeding. Through personal observation and descriptions, children got a meaningful experience of what autumn is.
